DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will deliver training to inmates in the field of Restaurant Trades. Your responsibilities will include maintaining thorough and accurate student records, providing counseling to update students on their performance, establishing challenging yet achievable goals, and utilizing both the curriculum and your personal experiences to educate students. Furthermore, you will consistently review and enhance the culinary program to reflect current industry trends, while developing individualized lesson plans and a comprehensive course of study.
You will employ NOCTI and Serve Safe as benchmarks for assessing competency within the program, teaching students about food preparation, production, equipment operation, safety, sanitation, and all facets of food preparation planning. Additionally, you will guide students on the roles and responsibilities associated with being a restaurant cook, institutional cook, short-order cook, and bread or pastry baker.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55
