DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Social Worker 1, you will provide a range of professional social work services, support, and interventions for residents of the facility. You will interact with residents, residents' representatives, and clients to coordinate needed social services. A s a member of an interdisciplinary care team you will complete psychosocial assessments, p rovide direct social work practice, c ounsel residents and their family members, and prepare residents for discharge. This position requires excellent relationship-building skills and a steady composure to m aintain positive and constructive working relationships with care teams, while responding to the needs and sensitivities of residents. In addition, you will participate in staff training programs, f ollow established procedures, and recommend quality improvement practice adjustments that enhance resident care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
