Job Duties

NVMHI is seeking a dependable and highly motivated team player to provide administrative support to the Assistant CNE.
To support comprehensive patient-centered care to individuals and groups with complex mental and physical illnesses through planning, coordination of and provision of transportation activities/scheduling of medical consultation appointments and maintenance, distribution and cleaning of medical equipment. Organizes, schedules and supports patient related transportation under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Nurse Executive and direction from Nursing Unit Managers. Develops and implements computer formats to organize and track transportation and medical equipment activities. Maintains taxi & bus token voucher logs. Maintains inventory of medical equipment, responds to requests for and delivers medical equipment to units.

Minimum Qualifications

Significant prior administrative assistant/secretarial experience required.
Experience in a clinical setting.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Demonstrated ability to provide direction and coordinate activities of others under the supervision of the ACNE.
Ability to assist in development of transportation schedules.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Additional Considerations

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Prior experience coordinating medical consultation services.
Experience working with KRONOS timekeeping and staff schedule system.
Experience utilizing electronic health record desirable.
Familiar with HIPAA compliance preferred.
