Job Summary
As Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a highly motivated and intellectually curious key contributor who will collaborate with senior leaders across the organization. In this highly visible role, you will support analysis, reporting, planning, and partnership initiatives to help the company achieve growth objectives. As a key member of the FP&A team, you must have the ability to complete multiple high-priority responsibilities simultaneously and be adaptable to changing business needs. You will have a strong sense of personal accountability and will take the initiative to solve problems independently. This role requires an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and present financial and operational results against forecast, budget, and prior year, identifying areas of improvement to drive operational efficiencies.
- Act as a trusted business partner who communicates actionable insights and financial implications of key initiatives.
- Help build automation of reports, financial models, and analysis to enhance company decision-making.
- Develop a deep understanding of operational data and proactively seek opportunities to drive organizational performance.
- Play a critical role in the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and strategic long-term plans. In addition to modeling, you will collaborate with leaders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with company roadmap.
- Prepare standard and specialized financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reporting) according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other reporting requirements.
- Share administrative responsibilities for Datarails, including creating new reporting capabilities, building and maintaining planning models, developing new dashboards, validating data loads, troubleshooting, and serving as a system expert.
- Prepare pro forma and due diligence analysis for potential new clinic locations.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned areas, working under moderate supervision.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business or align with strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Relevant experience in FP&A – 0-4 years for FA or 4 years for SFA
- Experience working in a private equity backed company or healthcare industry preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency using Financial Planning and Analysis and BI software
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Inquisitive mindset with a passion for process improvement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to concisely articulate complex financial concepts to inform and influence leadership
