Position Overview
The IT Service Coordinator will ensure seamless IT operations across seven office locations by managing vendor relationships, supporting end users, and maintaining compliance with security and privacy regulations. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting, and project management. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with system implementations, equipment inventory, and EHR support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between CPC and its external IT support vendor.
- Monitor and coordinate IT service requests, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Maintain network infrastructure, system security, and HIPAA compliance.
- Support and optimize lab and diagnostic equipment interfaces.
- Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and equipment lifecycle planning.
- Assist with software implementations, system upgrades, and security patches.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and training materials for staff.
- Collaborate with the EHR Administrator on projects and provide backup support.
- Research and implement industry’s best practices for IT security and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems, and networking technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows environments, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance, cybersecurity policies, and IT best practices.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
- Experience with EHR software and healthcare IT systems (preferred).
- Expertise in IT asset management, disaster recovery, and data backup solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support end users at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
