Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the financial operations team, offering mentorship and support.
- Generate and present financial reports to the leadership while collaborating with various departments.
- Engage in the development of program expansions and new business ventures.
- Assess business requirements and pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Oversee the budget formulation process and monitor overall performance.
- Manage procurement activities efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent governmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Act as a liaison between operational units and centralized accounting functions.
- Collaborate effectively with administration, nursing, clinical operations, support staff, and medical personnel.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least one (1) year within a healthcare context.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, and report-writing software.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in data analysis.
- Familiarity with compensation, payroll, contracts, business administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills in contract negotiations.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in finance or accounting preferred, including three (3) years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in a healthcare environment, particularly within academic medical centers or physician practices, is highly regarded.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Health Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- CPA, CMA, CHFP, or FHFMA certification is a plus.
