Responsibilities of the Scientist - Immunology:
- Create and assess CAR T cell constructs.
- Plan and execute experiments related to tissue culture and viral infections in tumor models, managing all phases of experimentation from initiation to completion, including subsequent cellular analysis.
- Contribute significantly to the development of new vector constructs and resolve challenges related to vector expression in engineered cells.
- Lead pre-clinical in vivo studies, ensuring proper execution and subsequent data analysis.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate scientific findings to both research and management teams, proposing next steps based on results.
- Coordinate and contribute scientific insights for the advancement of cross-functional research initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Scientist - Immunology:
- PhD or Master's degree in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or similar discipline, with 3 years of relevant working experience in immunology, in vivo oncology, or pharmacology in academic or industry.
- Strong working experience with CAR T cells or T cell engineering.
- Molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry, western blotting, ELISPOT, T cell activation assays, primary immune cell assays, immunophenotyping, IHC, Multiplex, RNAscope.
- Experience with immune cells such as T cells, myeloid cells, dendritic cells, or B cells.
- Proficient cloning experience such as T cell engineering, modifying BITE, CAR T cell engineering, gateway assembly, Gibson assembly, or cut and paste.
Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
