Purpose
The HR Business Partner - Learning & Development (HRBP-LD) serves as a strategic partner to leadership within a defined region, providing HR guidance and support to drive business objectives. This role is responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business strategies, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Additionally, this role leads training and development programs to enhance associate performance, career growth, and retention company wide. The HRBP-LD will work remotely when not traveling and will be expected to visit communities within their defined region at least twice per year.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field required; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, training, and development, preferably in a multi-site or regional role.
- Experience in designing and implementing training programs, both in-person and online.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and HR best practices.
- Experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and workforce development strategies.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HR systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of leadership and associates.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel 30-40% within the designated region.
- Acceptable driving record (required driver).
Areas of Primary Responsibility
- Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and implement HR and training strategies that align with business goals.
- Provide guidance and support on workforce planning, talent management, associate relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and associates on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Review, advise, and consult on corrective actions; approve involuntary terminations.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement company-wide training programs, including onboarding, compliance training, leadership development, and professional growth initiatives.
- Create and manage training schedules, monitor completion, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Conduct training sessions in person and virtually, using engaging methods to maximize learning outcomes.
- Track, analyze, and report training effectiveness metrics, making recommendations for improvement.
- Drive associate relations initiatives by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair resolution of workplace issues.
- Support change management efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness, cultural transformation, and adaptability to business needs.
- Regularly evaluate and update training materials to reflect industry trends, best practices, and evolving organizational needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance to ensure adherence in training programs.
- Assist the SVP of HR and others in researching and developing new training best practices.
- Lead or participate in special HR projects, cross-functional initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, collaboration, and accountability across the region.
- Attend regional meetings and conferences as needed.
