Your responsibilities will include active participation in new product development, cost reduction projects, and overseeing adherence to established quality and work standards. You will also supervise and develop quality technicians, communicate with all levels of the organization regarding KPIs and corrective actions, and complete and maintain quality deliverables such as control plans and test plans.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Participating in new product development and cost reduction projects assigned, ensuring adherence to established quality and work standards.
• Supervising and developing quality technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Communicating with all levels of the organization regarding KPIs and corrective actions, ensuring that everyone is informed and working together towards common goals.
• Completing and maintaining quality deliverables such as control plans, test plans, sampling justifications, and MRB areas monitoring, ensuring that these documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conducting root cause analysis of internal failures and reviewing and analyzing customer complaints using 8D methodology, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in a related curriculum and a good understanding of quality concepts, problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis, 8D methodology, and FMEAs. Experience or certification in auditing (TL 9000, ISO 9001) is preferred. You should possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you should be flexible to work in a variety of product lines and locations as needed, while supporting shift work if necessary.
