Jr. Buyer / Inventory
Position Overview :
Seeking an organized, proactive Jr Buyer / Inventory to support production operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, process improvement skills, and the ability to manage procurement and logistics efficiently.
Responsibilities : Purchasing 70%
Process and manage purchase orders across departments.
Maintain accurate records of materials and delivery timelines.
Evaluate costs, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize procurement.
Ensure timely material acquisition without delays.
Track and document incoming orders.
Manage supplier relationships and daily procurement logs.
Logistics 30%
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring smooth operations.
Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, and retailers.
Lead shop team to meet outbound requirements.
Collaborate with sales, shop, and administrative teams.
Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to optimize costs.
Resolve shipping issues and validate outbound materials / documentation.
Improve in-house outbound procedures and analyze carrier performance.
