This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to manage procurement such as purchasing / buying and inventory processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Purchasing / Buyer
Process and manage purchase orders across departments.
Maintain accurate records of materials, delivery timelines, and inventory levels.
Negotiate vendor contracts to optimize procurement costs.
Ensure timely material acquisition to prevent production delays.
Track and document incoming orders and manage supplier relationships .
Maintain daily procurement logs and supply base.
Some Inventory / Logistics will be required :
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors.
Lead the shop team to meet outbound delivery requirements.
Collaborate with sales, production, and administrative teams for smooth logistics operations.
Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to control costs.
Resolve shipping issues and validate outbound materials and documentation.
Improve internal logistics procedures and analyze carrier performance for efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Experience in industrial / shop environments preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset .
Ability to multitask and track multiple processes within the supply chain .
Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and company policies .
Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
