Training and Instructional Designer
Our global B2B property insurance company is seeking a Training and Instructional Designer to join the Project, Process, and Change Practices team. In this role, you will design, develop, and facilitate engaging learning programs focused on project, change, and process management for a global audience. You will create and refine training materials in in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deliver training programs that support project management, change management, and business process improvement.
- Develop e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), train-the-trainer programs, job aids, and other educational resources.
- Implement gamification and interactive learning techniques to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, analytics, and feedback loops, continuously refining content to improve learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), project teams, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Manage multiple instructional design projects, balancing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
- Utilize LMS platforms for course creation, enrollment, tracking, and reporting.
What You Bring:
- 5-7 years of experience designing and developing instructional materials using established models (ADDIE, SAM).
- Expertise in e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise, Camtasia) and multimedia tools (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience creating high-quality training content for global audiences, incorporating accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and data-driven training strategies.
- Ability to facilitate engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and change management frameworks is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a related field is preferred.
