Communities In Schools of Wake County (CIS Wake) is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time Director of Community Programs & Outreach to serve students and families in the Wake County area.
The position will oversee the operation of four (4) community learning centers located in public housing communities managed by the Raleigh Housing Authority in the City of Raleigh, and surrounding areas when applicable. Scope of work includes orienting program partners that will serve the community, managing community center staff, and facilitating community engagement workshops with partners.
Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills are highly preferred. Bilingual Spanish - speaking preferred. Minimum of a 4-year college/university degree in Community Development, Family & Consumer Science, Education, Mental Health, Child Development, Youth Development, Social Work or related field. Successful data management skills with monthly and quarterly reports required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, plus the ability to multi-task are a must. Successful criminal records check is required.

Compensation Package: Health 70% , 100% of Vision, Dental, Life, Long Term Disability provided. Up to 3% salary match for IRA contributions. 13 Paid holidays each calendar year. PTO accrual.
