What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Head Start Teacher position at Community Action Council?
JOB PURPOSE : The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for all aspects of the care and education of enrolled children.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Provides services to toddlers including physical caregiving, developmental assessments, and implementing age-appropriate curricula.
- Serves as the primary teacher for children and ensures safe and healthy learning environments and individualized learning activities for children.
- Individual may also be designated as a Center Assistant, assigned to classrooms as needed to provide continuity of care for required coverage during staff breaks, staff planning, and full-day operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
