From managing accounts payable and receivable, to preparing financial reports and budgets, your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial success. As an Accountant at the Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining our agency's financial stability. Your essential functions will include but not be limited to, preparing fiscal reports for funding sources, managing payroll, handling accounts receivables and payables, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. But that's not all!

You'll also have the opportunity to flex your analytical muscles by performing financial analysis on programs, participating in monthly program staff meetings, and assisting with the preparation for the annual audit. With your keen eye for detail and knack for numbers, you'll be an invaluable asset to our team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

To excel in this role as Accountant, you'll need to bring a combination of skills, experience, and the ability to work with precision and focus.

First and foremost, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must-have, along with at least four years of related bookkeeping or accounting work experience. We're searching for someone with a strong foundation in financial management and reporting. In addition to your educational background and work experience, strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills are crucial.

You'll be responsible for managing various financial tasks, so attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask are key. Proficiency in accounting software and tools is also necessary to succeed in this role, so be prepared to showcase your technical prowess.
