What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Coordinator position at Community Action of Southern Kentucky?
Full time position (up to 35 hours per week) based in Warren County for the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP). Will require travel in a ten county service area. Duties shall include support and assistance to the Foster Grandparent Director by identifying, recruiting, training, and coordinating the placement of eligible senior adults.
Minimum qualifications for this position are a high school diploma (or GED) and a valid Kentucky driver’s license. Associate degree in a social service related field and experience working with senior adults and/or special needs children, and familiarity of school systems highly desirable. Computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
This is a grant-funded position. Salary range for this position is $14.90-$19.02 based upon education and experience with an excellent benefit package.
