JOB SUMMARY
Position Title : Bilingual (Spanish / English) Food Pantry Assistant
Program : Health and Nutrition
Classification : Non-Exempt / Part-Time
Service Term : Temporary, 3 months
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Pantry Operations :
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of choice food pantry and hot lunch program, including but not limited to supporting the Food Pantry Coordinator by running the check-in process at food pantry, inventory management, and organizing food donations and deliveries, ensuring pantry shelves are stocked and properly rotated.
- Assists with food distribution to clients, ensuring fair access and compliance with program guidelines by actively participating at the sign-in desk at each Food Pantry. Volunteer Support :
- Supports volunteers by providing guidance on scheduling shifts and assigning tasks to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
