You will lead a dedicated team, including a Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, and Mental Health Counselor, to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and support.
We would love to hear from someone who:
- Has an AA in Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, Human Services, or related field OR 4 years of experience providing direct client services.
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals experiencing drug/alcohol addiction, mental illness, and/or homelessness.
- Has a minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Preferred: Has a BA or BS degree in a Human Services related field.
- Has a dependable, insured transportation and valid California driver’s license (mileage to be reimbursed) and acceptable driving record. A DMV printout and proof of insurance will be required.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate SLO-Hub staff. Provide site supervision to Integrated Treatment Specialists in collaboration with contracted partners.
- Oversee the progress towards meeting contract goals, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports. Participate in monthly monitoring meetings with SAMHSA.
- Maintain a caseload, conduct outreach, and assist participants in developing and achieving their self-sufficiency goals. Complete all necessary program paperwork and documentation.
- Work with community partners to ensure client access to appropriate treatment and support services. Coordinate program activities with other partner agencies.
- Ensure all administrative paperwork is submitted on time. Plan and coordinate staff training opportunities.
- Must be able to relate well to all people of the community regardless of color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability or socio-economic level.
- Must be at least 18 years of age by date of hire.
- Must comply with the CAPSLO COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, either being fully vaccinated or sign a COVID-19 vaccination declination form.
- Based on the program, a current TB skin test/Chest X-Ray may be required.
- Employment is contingent upon meeting all applicable job requirements and background requirements. A criminal history clearance is required prior to employment.
- Upon hire, agency staff will check the Megan’s Law (or the current sexual predator website) to ensure each staff being hired is clear for employment. Agency staff will check the website annually to ensure all program staff are cleared to work.
