Job Description

The Nutrition Delivery Specialist will be responsible for transporting daily meals to senior citizens and eligible adults in a friendly and timely manner. This involves:

• Picking up meals from the program site and assisting with meal packing if required;
• Delivering meals courteously and maintaining accurate route slips;
• Reporting any safety concerns or environmental issues to the supervisor;
• Cleaning and maintaining food delivery equipment;
• Maintaining a sanitary environment in the vehicle;
• Distributing and collecting donation envelopes weekly; and
• Accurately maintaining meal counts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record;
• Reliable transportation and insurance coverage;
• A dependable and courteous demeanor;
• The ability to organize efficient routes and work under time constraints;
• Physical stamina to lift coolers containing meals weighing up to 50 pounds;
• A high school diploma or equivalent credential; and
• Successful completion of criminal record and driving record checks.
