Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary to thrive in their home environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care while fostering a nurturing and respectful relationship with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support through engaging conversations and activities.
• Ensure a safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation and shopping.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Current Physical.
• Must Pass a Level II Background Screen
