As a Kennel Technician, you will ensure that all animals receive proper attention, hygiene, and comfort during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations or treatments as needed.
- Support pet owners with information regarding their pets’ needs and behaviors.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in animal handling and care.
Experience
- Previous is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of animal care practices, including dog handling and grooming techniques.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and pet owners.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
