Reports To: Assistant Superintendent, Finance and Operations
Schedule: 35 hours per week/52 weeks, Supervisor
Salary: Commensurate with Supervisor Agreement
Job Summary: The Community Enrichment Supervisor of Senior Programming is responsible for developing opportunities for adults age 60 and maintaining good public relations with students, parents, community and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in prioritizing several concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based programs (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software).
- Knowledge of Google Suite products.
- Demonstrated ability to participate as a member of the team.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create, organize, and maintain programming including but not limited to Learning Cafe programs, day trips, and other special events targeted to adults age 60 .
- Collaborate with area businesses to secure sponsorships for annual concerts and other events using a sponsorship package of services.
- Maintain an on-site presence at all senior programming events.
- Promote special events and classes.
- Design and create a quarterly Encore Programs Guide.
- Greet and assist customers in a positive manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consistent and reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, jump, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust/focus. Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work will be performed primarily indoors but may need to be outdoors occasionally.
