RESPONSIBILITIES
What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will aid our professional team and patients of all ages and backgrounds, both face-to-face as well as through telehealth, to do the following:
- Collect patient vital signs.
- Administering injections.
- Assist with generating reports for providers.
- Coordinating with pharmacies.
- Managing of schedules.
- Answering phones.
- Thorough documentation of patient interaction as well as communications of patient care with fellow staff members.
REQUIREMENTS
What it Takes
We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Certified Medical Assistant committed to our mission of providing patients with exceptional, trusted medical services.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- A certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant training program.
- Current BLS CPR certification.
- Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs.
- Strong verbal communication skills to advise patients.
- Problem-solving skills to develop effective patient care.
- Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files.
- Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws.
- Computer skills in operating record-keeping, scheduling, email, and word-processing software.
Preferred:
- 1 years as a Certified Medical Assistant*
