Receptionist and Care Coordinator
Duties:
- Coordinate and manage the referral process for telehealth clients
- Communicate with telehealth clients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate referrals
- Obtain necessary documentation and authorizations for referrals
- Schedule appointments for telehealth clients with specialists or other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records of referrals
- Collaborate with team to ensure seamless client care
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any concerns or questions regarding referrals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of dental software systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures related to referrals is a plus
-Medical Assistant experience preferred but not required
