Purpose of this position :
The purpose of this position is to plan, develop, coordinate, and supervise the STP (Special Treatment Program) and other therapeutic activity programs which meets the needs and interest of each resident in the facility, observing all regulatory requirements under state and federal law.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Social work , Psychology, Rehab Therapy or other Social Service field from an accredited college or university is required.
Knowledge of Title 22, Title 9, Patient Rights, STP Regulations and OBRA
Demonstrate Leadership, organization and management skills preferred.
- 2 years’ experience or training in a mental health setting preferred.
- Delegation of Authority :
Supervision of Mental Health Workers.
Scheduling of program staff
This position reports to : Program Director
