We are looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Youth Peer Support Specialist at Community Care ME. This position involves providing peer support services in various settings, adhering to the Peer Connect curriculum.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have lived experience with Severe Emotional Disturbance or Severe Mental Illness and be between the ages of 18-26. A valid State of Maine Driver's license and registered, insured vehicle are also essential.
Your Responsibilities
- You will attend Peer Connect training and maintain certification annually.
- Deliver one-on-one peer support services to youth, utilizing the Peer Connect curriculum.
- Facilitate workshops and coordinate educational opportunities.
- Maintain office hours during scheduled drop-in hours.
