Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant with the goal of training over the next few years to become the Maintenance Director when our current Maintenance Director retires. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with expertise in maintenance.
Duties
-Coordinate maintenance activities within the facility
-Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure efficient operation of equipment
-Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and systems as needed
-Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
-Oversee HVAC systems and ensure they are functioning properly
-Utilize Ohmmeters and logic controllers for troubleshooting electrical systems
-Lead project management initiatives related to maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of healthcare maintenance practices and procedures preferred
- Experience with Ohmmeters, logic controllers, and other relevant tools
- Excellent project management skills to oversee maintenance projects efficiently
