About the Role: We are seeking a talented In-House Counsel - Health Care Industry to join our team. As an Associate In-House Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health law, with a focus on contract negotiation, drafting, and review, as well as corporate governance and compliance. A JD degree from an accredited law school and at least 5 years of experience in health law are also required.
Main Responsibilities:
* Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring they meet business and legal objectives
* Provide legal advice on corporate governance and administration
* Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms
* Support CCP TASS risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks
* Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing timely updates to the team
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* JD degree from an accredited law school
* 5 years of health law experience in private practice or as in-house counsel
* Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire
* Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and review skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
