About us
Community Care began in 1974 as Community Care for Kids, Inc. Our agency developed out of a growing need to serve working families.
Since 1985 Community Care has been located at its current home of 130 East Maple Avenue, the former home of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. We are beginning plans to move to a local elementary school in the next year. We currently have two classrooms at our new location. This is an exciting time for our agency. We are looking to grow however we can't grow without talented teachers. We will have our entire operation at 405 West 3rd Street by early July.
Community Care is a non-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. With the agency Director/Administrator and staff they guide the organization’s policies and financial outlook. They have adopted the following Mission Statement for the organization:
Community Care is a non-profit early education center, provides a holistic, child-focused, play-based learning experience. Our highly trained professionals support families to develop each child's unique social, physical, emotional and cognitive abilities thus successfully preparing children for school careers and beyond.
Community Care Preschool & Child Care is a nonprofit licensed accredited group child care center located in downtown Beaver Dam, WI. We are seeking a full time teacher to join our team.
Minimum qualifications of Introduction to Early Childhood Profession required and HS diploma or equivalent.

Our business hours are 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are not open on weekends or holidays. We seek an individual who can work with all age groups of children. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old.

Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Foster communication with parents regarding children's progress and well-being.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs and promote early intervention strategies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
