Full Time Position, Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $30 - $32
Position is located in Santa Rosa
Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM

The Community Child Care Council is looking for a Program Monitor to join the 4Cs
team. The ideal candidate will travel to childcare provider’s homes and 4Cs Centers
and conducts visits to monitor program compliance. Additionally, the Program
Monitor reviews monthly claims, enrolls new participants, collaborates with their
team to provide annual trainings, performs clerical tasks and other program related
duties.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and conduct monitoring home visits and 4Cs center visits with assigned
food program participants (caseload 80-100).
- Schedule and conduct enrolling home visits for new program
participants/providers.
- Review food program menus, attendance and enrollments including edit
checks.
- May coordinate eligibility process.
- Complete monthly CNIPS data entry for added and dropped providers.
- Collaborate in planning and provide assistance at annual program trainings
for participants.
- Provide technical assistance to participants including Minute Menu training.
- Provide participants with technical assistance for computer claims.
- May receive, receipt and track provider claims as assigned by Department
Manager.
- Comply with all applicable program regulations and funding terms and
conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service, including a friendly and approachable
tone of voice and body language; returning phone calls by the end of the
next business day; and maintaining positive interactions with others.
- Assist supervisor and other team members with department duties as
assigned; provide back up to front desk as needed.
- Attend and participate in department staff meetings or trainings, monthly “all
office staff meetings”, and department retreats.
- Serve on a minimum of one agency or department committee.
- Represent 4Cs at community outreach events for a minimum of eight hours
per year as requested.
Additional Level 2 Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and collaboratively coordinating annual program
trainings for participants.
- Review food program menus, attendance and enrollments including edit
checks and ability to process difficult/complex claims.
- Responsible for re-enrollment process and training providers.
- Develops and updates department forms.
- May provide basic training to new staff.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
desired.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, and internet. Basic
knowledge of office equipment.
- Detail oriented. Demonstrated accuracy with calculating figures and record
keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer services skills and experience.
- Knowledge of nutrition and current trends in child health, wellness, and
physical activity.
- Ability to work well with people from various social, cultural, economic, and
educational backgrounds.
- REQUIRED: Valid California Driver’s License, insured vehicle, and reliable
transportation.
- Available to work some evening and weekend hours as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years' work experience with increased responsibility
preferably in a social service or child care agency and/or 24 ECE units.

PHYSICAL REQUIEMENTS:
- Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the job including lifting 35
pounds.
TRAVEL:
- REQUIRED: Up to 60% local travel within Sonoma, Napa, and Marin Counties.
