POSITION SUMMARY
The Onboarding and Development Partner role is a critical part of the Human Resources & Personnel Success division. This position's role is to support the successful onboarding and integration of newly hired employees into the college by ensuring the team members and their supervisors have the necessary resources and training tools to learn their role as well as about the CCA community throughout their first year of employment.
This role also serves the college by managing training opportunities for team members within the college. This includes identifying, marketing, and coordinating Professional Development programming for team members in collaboration with identified partners across the institution and within the Colorado Community College System.
- Administer, assess, and continually improve the employee orientation and onboarding process, for both full-time and part-time employees in partnership with various departments and functional areas of the college.
- Maintain a dynamic process that provides the tools employees need to competently do their job, while giving them a positive experience that anchors them to the college and creates buy in to the vision, mission and purpose of the college.
- Track orientation completions and follow-up with employees to ensure critical information is received and understood.
- Ensures the NeoEd platform is correctly updated with employee and supervisor information.
- Conducts new-employee check-ins within their first 60 days of employment to continue identifying ways to improve the college's onboarding processes.
- In collaboration with the Director of Personnel Success, identifies, coordinates, and launches professional development and training opportunities relevant to all divisions of the college to ensure highly qualified talent.
- Support supervisors in developing robust onboarding and training plans for each new hire to include technology, equipment, and access set-ups are completed in a timely manner.
- Track retention metrics and collaborate with the Director of Personnel Success to provide feedback from 60-day check-ins with leadership or otherwise use feedback to continue improving processes.
- Supports team members and supervisors regarding appropriate goal-setting techniques for annual performance management in collaboration with the Director of Personnel Success.
- Serves as back-up and support to the Director of Personnel Success in conducting stay and exit interviews, awards and recognition processes, and Data entry and maintenance of Banner as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Salary Range : Anticipated starting salary range is $55,453.00 annually. This salary is determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. CCA offers an excellent , including generous leave, holiday, and education benefits. Full time employees immediately upon hire earn 15 hours a month annual leave and 10 hours a month sick leave.
