About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Instructing/coaching students

Skill Development: Coach players of various ages and skill levels in fundamental and advanced tennis techniques, including strokes (forehand, backhand, serve), footwork, and court positioning.

Strategy and Tactics: Teach players how to strategize during matches, focusing on shot selection, game plans, and adapting to opponents' playing styles.

Fitness and Conditioning: Develop fitness programs tailored to tennis, emphasizing agility, endurance, and strength training specific to tennis players' needs.
Start Date: June 9th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: Monday through Wednesday with occaional Thursdays as rain make ups
Tennis Camps run 8:00-2:30, Hours may vary per specific camp
FTE: 0.15-0.375 (6-15 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching tennis.
