What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Assistant (CE Summer Camps- General Supervision) position at Community Education / EDP?
The Summer Assistant is responsible for supporting the general camp flow from sign-in, to lunch supervision, to classroom coverage, sign-out and daily tasks as assigned. Work in morning or afternoon extended camp care. The Summer Assistant may be required to assist in a specific camp, completing duties as assigned by the camp instructor or monitor the halls to ensure student safety.
Candidates must be personable, a self-starter and both motivated and know how to motivate others.
Required work hours are either 7:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. OR 11:45 a.m.-6:15 p.m.
Candidate must be available all 6-weeks (June 30-August 8).
Candidates should have outstanding leadership abilities, excellent classroom managment. At least 3 years working with children is a must.
All candidates must be at least 18-years of age.
Salary : $15 - $18
