Compensation:
$18.00- $19.00 an hour with one year experience serving those with intellectual disabilities or certified training as a nurse or medical assistant.

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm
Shifts are Monday -Friday from 8:30am to 3pm or 9am to 3:30pm with some full-time positions from 8am to 4pm.

Job Requirements:
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Must have six months prior experience providing direct care supervision and special services to the population served.
· Activity Director certificate a plus but not required.
· Shall be at least 18 years old.
· Currently certified in CPR/first aid, a plus but training is provided.
· Must have fingerprint clearance and pass a background check.
· Must be able to pass a TB/Health screening or have one already completed within the last 12 months.
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
· Must be able to bend, squat, and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and kneel.
· Dependable attendance is required.
· A willingness to work as a team player.
Job Duties Nurse Assistants:
· Assisting the Center Nurse with participants health care condition.
· Directly delivering individual and group learning experiences to assist each participant served.
· Actively participate in the instruction and life skills training of the participants.
· Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all daily reports, timesheets, and other required documents.
· Advocate for participant wellness.
· Report all incidences of harm or potential dangers.
· Execute weekly activities per learning modules for quality, accuracy, and expected outcomes.
· To document in instructor notes section in participant learning modules immediately following every session.
· Conduct thoughtful, accurate activities based on participants service plan.
· Assist participants with self-care needs as necessary.
· Assist the kitchen staff with serving meals and or drinks if necessary.
· Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
· Mandated abuse reporting.
