What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Minister position at Community Fellowship of East Bernard?
MISSION OF CFEB
As local church, our mission is to be a family of faith, growing together to show Christ’s love to all. We believe that when we as the church genuinely love one another, our community takes notice. Our hope is that our town, East Bernard and the surrounding areas, seeing our commitment to one another as a church family and to faithfully declaring the Gospel message, would come to know the love of Christ found through the Gospel. The main role of the Youth Minister is to foster a place of loving community for the next generation, discipling them as they follow Jesus.
JOB SUMMARY
As a member of our Leadership Team, the Youth Minister will help our whole church family develop stronger commitments as disciples of Christ by gathering faithfully, growing continually, giving generously and going daily. While rooted in building relationships with our elementary, junior high and high school students, a shared emphasis will be on equipping parents as the primary faith trainers of their own children. We want to help young people grow consistently as disciples and leaders as they mature through the various life stages, while intentionally building partnerships between church, home and the community.
