Job Title: Fraud Representative
Objective: The Fraud Representative serves as an integral part of Community First Bank of Indiana’s Compliance Department. The Fraud Representative supports the administration of the bank’s fraud prevention program in the following areas:
- Loss mitigation
- Dispute process
- Law enforcement communication
- Compliance with all state and federal regulations
Classification: This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position who reports directly to the Fraud Manager.
Location: Kokomo- Main Office Downtown
Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Performing a variety of investigative functions to assist with fraud detection and mitigation, including but not limited to the areas of debit cards, checks, wires, and ACH.
- Working basic to moderately complex financial crimes investigations for suspicious activity, money laundering, and other illicit activities.
- Review of daily transaction monitoring to identify and investigate fraud and suspicious activity.
- Responsible for maintaining triage of debit card dispute process.
- Interaction with bank customers and merchant services to resolve disputes.
- Sensitive communication with customers regarding their financial activities when they are a victim of fraud.
- Acts as a point of contact for 314(b) communications via the FinCEN Secure Information Sharing System.
- Serves as a resource to all bank employees in understanding fraud prevention and mitigation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel to other branches may be required to carry out job duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of banking regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and consumer and commercial deposit and lending regulations

Education & Experience:
Education – High School Diploma prefer Associate’s Degree or higher.
Experience – One (1) to three (3) years of similar or related experience. Teller, new accounts, fraud, and BSA/AML experience preferred. Strong banking or financial services industry background.
