As the Director you will oversee clinical operations, staff management and regulatory compliance for residential services. You are responsible for implementing, directing, and overseeing residential services ensuring the highest level of customer service and efficiency in operations. You will provide leadership to an interdisciplinary team and cultivate the function of the team as an integrated unit and actively engage with community stakeholders and referral sources to promote access to care.  

 

  • Provides leadership and establishes a supportive and cohesive environment that fosters collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Implements and supervises evidenced-based interventions and practices that address the diverse needs of the patient population.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, ensuring services are aligned with industry standards and outcomes.
  • Provides supervision for team members focusing on professional development and enhancement of skills while ensuring adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals for coordination of care.
  • Provide direct patient care per licensure and scope of practice standards.
  • Review referrals for clinical appropriateness and eligibility for services and coordinate admissions coordinators.
  • Ensures clinical documentation is completed accurately and timely according to agency, accreditation, and regulatory standards for all team members.  This includes assessments, treatment plans, episode notes and other relevant documentation.
  • Actively anticipates and works proactively to prevent crisis situations and provides guidance and support to staff during crisis situations.

Qualifications


  • State of Ohio license - LISW or LPCC with supervisory designation
  • Master’s degree or higher education in social work, clinical counseling, or related studies
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge and understanding of the State of Ohio Medicaid Behavioral Health State Plan Services Provider Requirements and Reimbursement Manual
  • Successful management of compliance to accreditation standards
  • Knowledge of the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) and ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
  • Expertise in diagnostic assessments, cognitive behavioral therapeutic modalities, and trauma-informed care
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams
  • Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems
