Reporting to the Practice Administrator, the Office Manager will oversee the daily operations and workflows, supporting CHC Mission, Vision and Values
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising patient access staff supporting primary care, behavioral health and walk in services, including staff hiring, training, scheduling and ongoing performance management.
- Supporting Patient Centered Medical Home Model through managing provider schedules, ensuring patients have access to appointments and completing ongoing health maintenance.
- Responsible for opening and closing of office and ordering of supplies, coordinating Maintenace as needed
- Coordinating workflows in clinical area by triaging phone calls for team nurses, picking up and accurately dispersing messages through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Documenting telephone encounters, patient screenings, and other data in the EMR
- Assists in front desk duties including registering new patients, check-in and check-out, insurance verifications, canceling and rescheduling of appointments
Qualifications
3 years’ experience in a medical office management (or equivalent) environment with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities. Strong organizational skills are required, with ability to set goals and prioritize workflows.
