**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in patient care, performing administrative and clinical tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures.
2. Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
3. Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
4. Schedule patient appointments and medical tests.
5. Handle patient inquiries and communicate test results to patients.
6. Maintain medical supplies and equipment inventory.
7. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
8. Perform administrative tasks such as medical coding, billing, and insurance claims processing.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
3. Certification as a Medical Assistant.
4. Proven experience working in a medical office setting.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
8. Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health records systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field.
2. Prior experience with phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
3. CPR certification.
4. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
