Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the Administrative Assistant this position is responsible for the clerical support of specific members of the office of the VP/Chief Medical Officer, providers and/or staff. It requires use of presentation software, strong communications skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service.

Education:
- HS Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
- Prior administrative or clerical experience in clinical or community-based setting highly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a similar or related field
- Bilingual skills preferred
Special Skills:
- Able to work flexible hours as needed
- May travel to other CHC Centers as required
- Able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and FERPA standards
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work with diverse people groups
- Intermediate to advanced phone skills; able to effectively relate via the telephone and in-person to serve the needs of the organization (patients/clients/visitors) in a manner that is efficient and productive
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize along with good organization skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with moderate supervision
- Proven flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks
- Training and /or experience with computer data entry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft office Applications: Word, Excel and Outlook
