Patient Service Technician / Driver

Responsibilities :
Prioritizes and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups and service calls in an efficient manner
Educates home care patients and other end users on medical equipment, including set up and demonstration of the use of equipment
Makes sure all incoming equipment is properly bagged and tagged
Completes necessary paperwork by collecting accurate patient information to support care service and treatment options, which includes patient signature for billing. Collects payment for goods if applicable.
Safely handles hazardous or contaminated equipment or materials. Follows all infection control protocol. Securely loads and stages delivery vehicles.
Prepares delivery vehicle daily by verifying load against shipping paperwork
Must maintain high level of knowledge on all equipment
Available for on-call rotation
Skills / Requirements :
Must meet D.O.T age requirements and have a current state issued driver's license, an MVR will be required
Required to Pass a Background Check
High School Diploma / GED
One Year of delivery experience preferred
Good Oral and Written Communication skills
Good organization skills
Excellent Customer Service
Ability to use a computer equivalent to the position
Must be able to life up to 150lbs, ability to life, carry and move equipment
