Patient Service Technician/Driver

Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups and service calls in an efficient manner
- Educates home care patients and other end users on medical equipment, including set up and demonstration of the use of equipment
- Makes sure all incoming equipment is properly bagged and tagged
- Completes necessary paperwork by collecting accurate patient information to support care service and treatment options, which includes patient signature for billing. Collects payment for goods if applicable.
- Safely handles hazardous or contaminated equipment or materials. Follows all infection control protocol. Securely loads and stages delivery vehicles.
- Prepares delivery vehicle daily by verifying load against shipping paperwork
- Must maintain high level of knowledge on all equipment
- Available for on-call rotation
Skills/Requirements:
- Must meet D.O.T age requirements and have a current state issued driver's license, an MVR will be required
- Required to Pass a Background Check
- High School Diploma/GED
- One Year of delivery experience preferred
- Good Oral and Written Communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Excellent Customer Service
- Ability to use a computer equivalent to the position
- Must be able to life up to 150lbs, ability to life, carry and move equipment
