What You’ll Do
Build and Execute a Resource Development Strategy
- Team up with the CFO and leadership to craft and execute a rock-solid, diversified funding strategy—grants, donors, sponsorships, you name it!
- Scout and assess funding opportunities (foundations, government agencies, corporations, and individuals) that align with our mission and vision.
- Cultivate authentic relationships with funders, sponsors, and community champions to secure funding and support that aligns with our commitments (because impact doesn’t happen overnight!).
- Develop creative campaigns and initiatives that attract funding and keep supporters engaged.
- Stay ahead of philanthropy trends, funding models, and donor interests to bring fresh, strategic ideas forward.
- Create donor recognition and engagement programs that make supporters feel appreciated, valued, and connected to our mission.
- Lead the charge on crafting compelling, mission-aligned grant proposals that connect to our goals and reflect our values.
- Partner with program teams and leadership to ensure proposals tell a story and budgets align with goals.
- Manage the grant lifecycle—from the first draft to the final report—and hit every deadline with style.
- Manage all things grants: track timelines, monitor compliance, oversee renewals, and report on outcomes.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure funds are used efficiently, impact milestones are hit, and everyone’s on the same page.
- Maintain organized, accurate records in a central calendar—because you’re all about the details.
- Develop meaningful relationships with funders, corporate partners, and individual donors who are ready to make a difference.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create powerful donor materials, including proposals, updates, and impact reports.
- Organize and plan donor visits, events, and engagement opportunities that deepen connections and showcase our mission.
- Partner with program teams to track the impact of secured resources and translate data into compelling stories.
- Collaborate with marketing to share successes through reports, campaigns, and digital platforms.
- Set ambitious fundraising goals, measure progress, and celebrate wins and milestones, recalibrating as needed.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create robust fundraising campaigns, donor-facing content, and social media magic.
- Keep our fundraising presence fresh, engaging, and impactful—on websites, social platforms, and beyond.
- 5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and donor management with a passion for storytelling and relationship-building (bonus points for nonprofit experience).
- Proven expertise in grant writing, budgeting, and managing the grant lifecycle.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, align them with organizational priorities, and create innovative solutions.
- Exceptional writing skills—you can craft proposals and donor reports that inspire and inform.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping an eye on the details.
- Familiarity with donor management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (you’ve got the tech chops).

- Salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $80,000 / annually depending on experience.
