We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our Transitional Support Program (TSP) team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults ages 18-25 as they navigate the transition to independent living.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and supportive living environment for clients
- Monitor medications and provide guidance on healthy living habits
- Teach life skills such as meal preparation, hygiene, and budgeting
- Assist with administrative tasks and facilitate educational groups
- Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with youth preferred
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
