Base Wage (without the differentials): $36.06 - $45.56/hr (RN) and $28.95 - $36.00/hr (LPN)
2nd shift differential: $5.30/hour
Weekend shift differential: $4.75/hour
2pm - 10pm Hours Open, Rotating Week:
- Week 1 : Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2 : Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Summary
As a Charge Nurse at Community Health Services Campus, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our skilled nursing facilities. Your leadership will ensure that our residents receive the best possible care while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care are met.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care as necessary.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and available services.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably in skilled nursing or geriatrics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, vital signs monitoring, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma center protocols is a plus.
