Job scope: A support position for the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program, which serves babies birth-3years. Charged with timely and accurate data entry, referral processing, completing records request, and assisting service providers in the field with additional support needs. Provides Spanish interpretation for ECI families in their homes and community. Assist with obtaining required signatures on Spanish documents. Some travel required. The data coordinator participates in Continuous Quality Improvement by identifying trends/patterns and suggesting/implementing solutions to problem areas.
Education/licensure: High school education or equivalent. Two to three years experience in clerical activity with knowledge of office and clerical procedures. Knowledge of computer application related to word processing and spread sheet applications. Current valid driver's license in state of residence required.
Certification: Has or willing to obtain foreign languages certification.
Experience/Knowledge: Good computer skills in Word and Excel. Knowledge of Data Base Programs such as Access is useful. Good writing skills to be able to describe work process. Ability to read and apply ECI policy; prior work experience in the ECI program is preferred.
