Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This role involves working closely with clients, monitoring their health and well-being, and providing personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism through tailored caregiving techniques.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and caregiving best practices is essential.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
