What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Community Homecare?
1. Maintain regular channels of communication with homemaker/personal care attendant personnel in order that any change or request for change is handled in a timely fashion and in a manner that does not put the client in jeopardy. Use of inter-office email to communicate with all office staff any information change for any specific client or field staff member.
2. Communicate with the Homemaker Supervisor on a regular basis.
3. Use of proprietary software to maintain employee and client schedules. Software should be used to maintain personal information on employees and clients, including training, TB testing, CPR certification and availability. Use of software to have available and maintain a roster of qualified field employees who are trained and available as backup homemaker/personal care attendant staff and for scheduled and emergency respite care.
4. Monitor caregiver time slips to assure they arrive to the office as soon as possible. Communicate with field staff if there are outstanding time slips to assure that they are received in a timely manner.
5. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Scheduling Coordinator Supervisor, Director, or Assistant Director.
