They're looking for someone to help clean and take care of them part-time—someone nice and dependable to brighten up their days. Would you like to get involved with this?
Community Horizons is passionately supporting the search for a private caregiver to join a loving in-home care team. In this fulfilling role, you will provide vital support and hands-on assistance with personal care and housekeeping tasks. Your efforts will play a crucial role in helping this community member maintain their cherished independence at home.
This position is part of the self-direction program, which means you'll work directly for the individuals who need your support. This arrangement not only offers greater flexibility and control over your schedule but also fosters a more personal and meaningful working relationship, as the member will hire you directly, bypassing the agency.
Schedule:
Monday 12 p – 4:30 p
Wednesday 12 p – 4:30 p
Friday 12 p – 4:15 p
Pay:
$16.32/Hour
Tasks:
- Keeping the house tidy by sweeping, mopping, doing laundry, and vacuuming
- Making and cooking meals
- Running errands and helping with money management
- Helping someone take a shower, especially washing their back (for female member only)
What it takes to succeed:
- You need to be at least 18 years old.
- We will check your background.
- You must have a valid driver's license.
- You should be okay with going up and down stairs.
- It’s great if you can make us laugh.
- You really need to love dogs!
