Caregiver shifts Part Time Hours

Job description

Are you on the lookout for a fulfilling part-time job and earn some extra cash for the Holidays?

We have a wonderful opportunity for you to help an elderly community member. This individual's primary language is Russian, but don't worry about the language barrier – you can easily communicate using a translation app on your phone! He also understands and communicates basic English.

We're on the lookout for someone to help from 9 AM to 1 PM every weekend or every other weekend, and daily from 6 to 8 PM. We're flexible and happy to work with any availability you can offer!

The pay is $16.32 per hour.

Your tasks will include:

• Preparing meals
• Light housekeeping
• Assisting with toileting
• Providing stand-by help for mobility
• Offering companionship

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable and punctual. While caregiving experience is preferred, it isn't a must. If you're comfortable navigating a language barrier and enjoy engaging conversations while getting things done, we’d love to hear from you!

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
